I met with Jason Ryckeghmen,PA, to discuss options to manage my advanced osteoarthritis in my shoulder . Jason was able to explain both medication management interventions and surgical procedures in a clear and coherent manner. I was very comfortable with Jason and appreciated his wealth of knowledge re surgery , medications , and recovery time. I would recommend Jason to anyone seeking information re potential shoulder repair and what forward moving steps are next.

Dr Rink is helping me with pain control pending a shoulder replacement. He takes time to answer my questions and ensures my pain is under control as much as possible. I am extremely pleased with his care and concern.

I had a recent appt.withDr Peter Rink, Davenport Iowa to examine my RH ring finger which was experiencing issues related to a trigger finger symptom. The appointment was very efficiently completed and a cortisone shot was given to an area on my RH palm. I was very pleased with the knowledge exhibited by Dr Rink and after 2 days my trigger finger symptoms are improving. The appointment resulted in a very positive outcome.

Dr Rink is very kind, and really goes to bat for his patients. We recommend him.

Dr. Rink done an excellent job with replacing one of my knees. My biggest problem with this Surgery was healing. He assured me with phone calls and lots of verbal encouragement. My knee is 98% thus far. I'm still healing and glad I had the knee replaced.

Apparently Dr. rink was backed up so it took me almost an hour to get in there and I see Josh practitioner who is great. I’ve seen him twice he does a good job.

Dr. Rink is friendly and very professional. He did a great job of explaining the operation and what to expect. He answered all of my questions which helped me make my decision to go ahead with the hip replacement. The operation went well and he stopped in the next morning before I was discharged to see how I was doing and told me things to do and things I should avoid. I have followed his advice and am very happy with the results. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Rink. He’s a great surgeon.

Dr. Rink replaced my left knee last year. Woo Hoo on that knee! No joke! My right knee is going to need the same treatment sooner or later. Today, a cortisone injection will do. Dr. Rink doesn’t pressure you. This is appreciated because it’s a little scary, especially if you’re a first timer. Dr Rink went over X-rays with me, so I knew where I stood. Courteous, polite, professional, kind. I’d recommend Dr. Rink to anyone.

Dr Rink is very friendly and thorough, I've been having sacroiliac/hip pain, and Dr Rink stated that I was close to needing a hip replacement. He showed me my X-rays and explained the surgery thoroughly. He even showed me pics of the artificial joint that he uses.

After years of putting off hip replacement, I finally decided to do it. Dr. Rink explained everything in detail that was to be expected, and truly cared how how I was doing after surgery. Now pain free for the first time in years, I am hoping he is around for the other hip, when I am ready!

ORA Peter Rink, D.O., is where to be when you need honest answers. My first experience with Dr. Rink was in 2011... I had spent twenty years teaching in the prekindergarten clsssroom using my hands... so much, that during the night I would waken with pain in my hands and arms... I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands with lasting relief. My second experidnce with Dr. Rink was in 2012... although I had lost 100 pounds, .my knees were bone on bone and knee replacement surgery was the only option... to this day, I am ever so grateful for my new knees and the range of motion without pain that surgery provided. Now, eleven years later, I found myself once again in Dr. Rink's office... this time, my hips are giving me grief... unfortunately, I have put weight on and although there is bone on bone, I have been advised to shed several pounds before hip replacement... where other doctors might forge ahead, Dr. Rink is looking out for successful surgery with a healthy outcome for me. Thank you Dr. Rink... I place my trust in you and your team at ORA.

Dr Rink performed a hip replacement on my right hip. He explained what would happen and was responsive to my questions. The surgery went well and I’ve recovered quickly so far. I would highly recommend Dr Rink and ORA

Dr. Rink has given me a knee replacement, rotor cuff surgery and two carpal tunnel surgeries. I've been happy with all of them.

Dr Rink replaced my left hip, early August 2023. I was in a great deal of pain and had to use a cane to even be slightly mobile. Dr Rink was straight forward and completely honest about this major hip surgery. Both Dr Rink and his assistant, Jason, have been outstanding medically and greatly personable! I would not hesitate to recommend or return to him in the future.

Dr Rink is very knowledgeable and professional, he has done prior surgeries and will also do further surgeries for me. I like him and trust him with my care.

I have been going to Ora for several years now. I have had doctor rink do both shoulders for rotor cuffs and knee replacement. The staff werevery professional. Doctor Rink and staff listen to me. He has a no punches attitude. He tells you what need to do to get better. If you don't it's your own fault. I did what he wanted me to do on my knee and I was way head of schedule of my goals for full recovery. So in all i highly recommend roa for any thing.

I've seen Dr Rink a few times a shot in a knee & later if it ever needs replaced I'm going to get him this visit was for ruptured discs in neck pressing on spinal cord & nerves hes recommended me to specialist, he took time to answer all my questions & go over my MRI great guy ,down to earth & knows how to be professional at same time, I highly recommend him . Ive seen his associate Jason he has gave me shots in knee shoulder & sent me too therapy & had xrays taken which lead to the findings of the nerves in my neck they are great I'd recommend Jason also.

I came to ORA in 2016 with knee pain. I saw Dr. Peter Rink. Sure am glad I did! Dr Rink helped with that knee pain, cortisone injection (after complete X-rays). However, it was the other knee that ‘went out’. That knee was totally replaced last year (March 2022), and I couldn’t be happier!! Dr Rink and his staff are top notch! The knee with the original pain..that knee is hanging in for now. It will probably need to be replaced in the future. When it does, I’ll be seeing Dr. Rink. Thank you ORA/Team Rink!

Dr. Rink and his staff were prompt at my appointment and reviewed my medical needs physically, as well as listening to my concerns. I expect to be getting around better soon.

Dr Rink diagnosed the source of my shoulder pain quickly, gave me a Cortizone shot treatment, and was very patient with my questions and nervousness regarding the shot. I was 90% pain-free within a day and 100% pain-free within three days! Now on to physical therapy.

Dr. Rink is great. My experience at ORA in Bettendorf is very positive. The staff are friendly helpful and do their best to answer all questions. They are pretty prompt in taking care of your needs.

I have had 3 surgeries on my knee over 17 year span at ORA.A meniscus repair was done on a Friday and Monday I was back at work; excellent results. I had an OATS transplant which repaired a hole and it provided new life to my knee. This year a total knee replacement was performed. Dr Rink has my complete trust having successfully operated on 4 members of my family also. He's very caring and professional; willing to explain things which puts you at ease. I would highly recommend Dr Rink.

Dr Rink cares so much about your health and your concerns about surgery. He checked over my scans thoroughly and after talking with me, let me know a total knee wasn’t something I needed just yet. Thank Goodness I wasn’t ready for that. I can get the scope and get a good result from that. Some doctors might just push you into something you don’t want or need. He really cares. 5 stars!

ORA doctors and PA are excellent! They listen closely to your concerns and offer comprehensive treatment plans. Surgeries are very successful and alternative treatments are offered too. Staff are friendly as well. There are lots of employees up front to make the check in/out process quick.

My experience with Dr Rink was excellent once he came in. He appeared to be kind and efficient I received a shot in shoulder and it help a lot and I have a follow up in a couple of months. Eventually I will need surgery as he & Jason explain. I hope and pray that when I do Dr Rink isn’t overbooked and can do the surgery.

He does great work … aligned both my knees almost perfectly… I got right knee replacement when I was 52 and could bend my knee 125 and could straighten my knee in 5 weeks… just did left knee at age 60 and the same… very caring and straight forward dr… he does a great job….

While no one ever wants to need an orthopedic physician, I enjoy seeing Dr. Rink. He is kind, personable, professional, and very thorough. He explains everything in a way lay person can understand. He never fails to take a minute to ask how I am (beyond what I'm seeing him for), and to ask about my mom. He was sad to hear she had passed away. I think I've been seeing Dr. Petey for about 30 years and always request him when I need to go to ORA.
